196TH LIGHT INFANTRY
This drawing, titled "196th Light Infantry," was inspired by my father's stories of the Vietnam War. In this picture, the men's expressions can be seen from left to right: the first man is smiling, the middle man doesn't have much of a smile, and the man on the right has no smile. This progression tells a profound story of what happens before you go to war while you're in a war and what it's like after the war. I wanted to capture these raw emotions, offering a timeless tribute that resonates with veterans and art enthusiasts, bringing history and humanity to life.
