A Day At The Beach

A Day At The Beach

Graphite on paper 11" x 14" Available $ 1,200.00 People flock to enjoy the splendorous Atlantic seashore's beach in Hampton, New Hampshire. A cloud stretching across the horizon is composed of hundreds of vertical lines in the distance. And, if you look closely, you can see the people's wet shadows in the sand and watch families play in the water in this contemporary artwork.

Sarris~DeCastro

Sarris~DeCastro

Graphite & charcoal on paper 14" X 11" Sold DeCastro stands still in the calm water while Sarris presses the shutter button on his camera. The landscape has rolling hills and scrub-vegetation created using charcoal. Her detailed dress disappears into the water with a soft, light blend of charcoal and graphite. Her Identity is missing, but you can decide for yourself who she is.

From A Distance

From A Distance

Graphite on paper 16" X 20" Available $ 2,550.00 Tens of thousands of lines make up this dynamic scene at Times Square in New York City. The background structures are soft in tone to give the feeling of distance and reflecting glass, while the foreground has more bold marks to move toward you. In this drawing, the crowds of people come to life with their unique personalities and culture.

John Doe

John Doe

Graphite on paper 14" X 19" Available $ 2,125.00 This piece was inspired by my father SSG Carmen J. Verdi Sr. 1941 - 1996 John Doe was a wartime hero who fought for survival in Vietnam. The jungles can see John's remembrance in this drawing I created in 2014. The memories of those horrific days will be with him forever, and his name forgotten. This artwork is the second part of the 196th Light Infantry drawing.

Reality

Reality

Graphite on paper 16" X 20" Available $ 2,550.00 Soft lines fill long shapes on France's concrete slabs, on which two men sit. A rottweiler stands guard while another dog looks over a man's shoulder as he prepares something in his hand. Are they homeless and living on the street? Or are they just out with their dogs? It's unclear; maybe you can figure it out? My cousin, Laurel, took the reference photo used for this drawing. 1st place - group show Peoples Choice Award
